Maria celebrates the fusion of color, unexpected combinations of prints, and textures in her collections. Her goal is to create apparel and accessories that makes every woman look and feel extraordinary and confident.
The vision is a result of experience from coast to coast. From the revolutionary ESPRIT brand in San Francisco to HYPE in Los Angeles. In New York, Maria designed for Gwen Stefani’s L.A.M.B. and fashion icon Nanette Lepore, from NY Fashion Week to ready-to-wear.
Maria now calls Phoenix, AZ her home, and is a full-time instructor at ASU, Herberger School of Art at Fusion on First in downtown Phoenix.
Her passion is to assist students and pass down her knowledge and skills.
She has also shown collections at Kansas City Fashion Week and Omaha Fashion Week. Maria also does custom designing for clients from her studio along with private instruction.
She prides herself with a dedication to the art and engineering of the best possible garment or accessory.
